Theatre in London

TAL students visit anywhere from ten to twenty West End and Off West End shows as part of their course curriculum. Productions seen range from straight plays, musicals, operas, mimes, and immersive theatre. Students also take the time to see additional productions in their free time. Viewing so many shows provides engaging class discussions and exposes the students to a variety of theatre that will influence their artistry for years to come.

Here are a few of the most recent productions we’ve seen:

  • Daddy by Jeremy O. Harris
  • The Ocean At The End Of The Lane adapted by Joel Horwood
  • Much Ado About Nothing by William Shakespeare
  • Ministry of Lesbian Affairs by Iman Qureshi
  • Small Island adapted by Helen Edmundson
  • Our Generation by Alecky Blythe
  • Henry VIII by William Shakespeare
  • Marys Seacole by Jackie Sibblies Drury
  • The Doctor adapted by Robert Icke
  • & Juliet by David Read and Max Martin
